The 66th Kaimuki Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting will be held Thursday, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m.? It is presented by the Kaimuki Business & Professional Association.

Each year, the Kaimuki Business & Professional Association provides the lights and decorations for the Christmas Tree and Kaimuki community Park.? The Kaimuki Community Park organizes volunteers from the Hawaiian Electric Company to string the lights.
The Kaimuki Christmas Parade will march down Waialae Avenue from St. Louis School/Chaminade University to Koko Head Avenue.? Two Diamond Head bound lanes will be closed on Waialae Avenue and traffic will be contraflowed on the remaining lanes.
About 40 Kaimuki businesses, schools, bands, and community groups are participating this year.
There will be a special appearance by Santa Claus.
